Comedy/Horror/Action Rated R
The horror comedy Zombieland focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus is a big wuss -- but when you're afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying' bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita and Little Rock, who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.
Very small casts that consists of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. Also contains cameo type parts from Amber Heard and Bill Murray. Considering 3 of these are academy awards nominees (Breslin, Murray, Harrelson) and 3 (Heard, Stone, Eisenberg) of some of the biggest rising starts in the business, you should expect good performances, and they are all indeed very good in there roles, and i though all but Eisenberg where even above expectations.
Not overly gory, just average zombie type stuff, with some good semi-comical kill sequences.
While I didn't find there to be a lot of lough out loud moments, there where certainly several chuckle worthy moment, most of which came from Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray, as most other character played serious characters with Harrelson the comedic relief. Although not as funny as it's reputation made it out to be, its still entertaining from start to finish and never dragged at all. Definitely one to see and buy on par with Shaun of the Dead as far as "zombodies" go.
