Plot

An unexpected encounter with a mysterious beast leaves shady real estate developer Russel Bane afflicted with the curse of the werewolf. An expert in the occult shares her own werewolf secret and agrees to teach him about the underworld. Bane soon gets involved in a bitter vampire feud and teams up with a squad of vampire hunters to track down a powerful ancient bloodsucker.

Acting

Stars Shia LeBeouf's TV sister Christy Romano, and controversial actor and SyFy regular Jeremy London. Despite both stars waning popularity, they both have a good amount of talent and Romano certainly should be a bigger star than she is. Also stars genre.SyFy vets Rhett Giles, Yancy Butler and Mark Dacascos.

Gore

Blood splatter during a werewolf attack, blood flow during vampire feedings and attacks.

Sex/Nudity

None

Final Thoughts

Although it's made by SyFy/The Asylum regulars Griff Furst and Leigh Scott, this is of a much higher quality then most of there work(King of the Lost World, Hillside Cannibals, Dead Men Walking, 1000 Million BC, etc...). The acting is mostly good, and never bad, the story is, whilst not at all original, completely competent, never getting too off topic, or clunky. Worth watching, despite its shortcoming in some areas, as its better than many of the other SyFy original movies and the many Vampire and Werewolf movies that are crowded video shelves these days.
