Terror in the Mall (1998)

Plot
A disparate group of people is trapped in a shopping plaza during a flood. To make matters worse, one of the folks is an escaped killer, and deadly methane gas is seeping up through the flood waters.
Acting
Rob Estes and Shannon Sturges are good as the villain and heroine. The rest of the cast, which includes David Soul (Starksy & Hutch TV Show), is adequate.
Action/Gore
A lot of pretty good action sequence, although very little actual violence occurs.

Final Thoughts
This is a made for TV disaster thriller that doesn't really offer anything new, but does manage to entertain with solid action and disaster sequences, and by building up a good amount of suspense, plus its set in one of my favorite movie settings, and empty shopping mall. Overall amounts to a quality action movie that's worth the small amount of cash you'll have to spend on it.
