Laserblast (1978)

Plot

Alien creatures kill a mutated alien creature in the California desert. Its remains, and the high-tech laser gun and power source accidentally left behind, are found by an ostracized teenager. However, the power source causes the teenager to mutate too, and he goes on a murderous rampage.

Acting

Pretty bland that was typical of 1970's low budget cinema

Action/Gore

Several explosions, a decent fight scene.

Sex/Nudity

A women is very briefly seen topless as she is tackled into a pool.

Final Thoughts

"Laserblast" pillar of both 70's grind house and b-movie cinema, its got bad acting, awful special effects, over the top characters, lots of random scenes, and little storyline continuity, etc.... Cheesiness abounds. It also has one of the most cheesy, ridiculous and very entertaining finales you will ever see. A must see for bad movie fans, and a must not see for fans of proper movies. At publishing this movie ranks as the 63rd worst film ever made on IMDB and with much reason.
