Insecticidal (2005)

Plot

Brilliant sorority girl Cami's experiment in insect intelligence goes awry, leaving giant, mutant insects hunting for food in a sorority house - and the only thing to eat is beautiful sorority sisters! The insect horrors increase in size while their source of food shrinks. The girls fight a savage hit and run battle with whatever weapons they can find. But the insects have more on their super-intelligent minds than food. Beautiful Josi becomes a host for more than sorority parties when she is infected with the next generation of mutant insects! Cami and a few survivors survive the night, leaving insect carnage throughout the house. But to deal with a bug problem, you have to kill them ALL

Acting

Heffern and McLeod are average, but enjoyable and charismatic in the lead roles, the rest of the cast is poor, but that does not in any way harm the movie.

Gore

Good amount of gore, several brutal dismemberments, by both humans and bugs a like.

Sex/Nudity

Every female who plays a supporting role has a lengthy sex or nude scene. Samantha McLeod might as well be naked. (She is in Snake on a Plane)

Final Thoughts

Insecticidal, which is presented by Fangoria/Gore Zone, is one of my favorite cult b-movies. It is microbudget and shows it in both special effects and picture quality. However cheap the special effect are stil fun, and well the acting is certaing not what would be considered critically good, it is also still entertaing. There are many good gore and nude scenes, and also alot of good comedic sequences. A must from true fans of cult and b-movie cinema.
